Midwest Warmblood Retraining at Biggs Mountain

A private facility where you and your horse can regain your confidence and get back on track

Over the years, I've seen many riders become disappointed and frustrated when the
horse of their dreams turns into a nightmare. When nothing seems to help the
situation and there's no one to turn to. When out of no where the horse spooks,
rears, stops, spins or bolts.

At Midwest Warmblood Retraining, I've created the perfect environment to get your
troubled partner back on track. My 6 week evaluation / recovery program is the
answer to helping you get back in the saddle and enjoying your horse.

Then again, sometimes you and your horse are just not made for each other. In
these cases I can help find your horse a new, more suitable home and help you find
a horse more suited to you.

Testimonial:

"Michele has trained my horse beautifully from a horse with no dressage training to a
working 3rd level horse ready to go even further. She has done this in less than a
year and has dealt with and overcome problems like rearing, bolting, bucking and
freezing. My horse did them all. Now, with no signs of these problems, she is also
being used as a fabulous lesson horse, helping to teach new students how to more
effectively use their seat and their aids. I am absolutely thrilled with my and my
horse's progress."

Three Months Retraining at Biggs Mountain
After retraining, this horse is ready to be shown at 3rd level. Keep in
mind, a horse with this type of background will probably never be suited
for an adult amatuer without professional supervision. See the after
retraining at Biggs Mountain video clip

Before Biggs Mountain
Before coming to Biggs Mountain, this horse had learned a number of
bad tricks. Imported from Germany as a four year old, the horse
needed to be ridden forward and with confidence. Unfortunately,
previous riders did not understand this fully. As a result he became
unreliable and would oftentimes shut down during a session. This
resulted in an unsafe horse to ride. He would stop, jig and rear. See the
early training session BiggsMountain video clip. Note that this session
was actually an improvement over what he was like when first arrived at
Biggs Mountain.
