Biography
Biography
Michele Inman, a USDF Silver, Silver Freestyle Bar and Bronze Medalist,
has been an avid equestrienne virtually all of her life. She has
successfully trained young horses to the FEI level and is currently
showing two horses she owns as well as clients’ horses at all levels,
from training level through FEI. Michele operates a training and boarding
facility in Ballwin, MO, a popular
and convenient location in west county (suburb of St. Louis). She
specializes in training and conditioning the dressage horse. Her
passion for horses started as early as she can remember (her first
words were probably “I want a horse for Christmas” coming before
even “mama” or “dada”). Her first formal lessons began as a pre-
teen in England in equitation and jumping. She competed on the
collegiate circuit as a member of the Southern Illinois University-
Carbondale Equestrian Team in stadium jumping and equitation.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree from SIU-C in Journalism and
Animal Industries and a Master’s Degree in Marketing and
Advertising from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. Her
professional business experience within marketing and advertising
includes VP of promotions at a St. Louis advertising agency, as well
as advertising and marketing manager positions at USA TODAY,
Maritz, and Citicorp Financial. She most recently was a marketing
executive with Folgers coffee at Procter & Gamble. In 2008, she focused
solely on the management of her business and has been full time with
training, schooling and showing her varied dressage mounts.
